With a private cloud deployment, Polymon Cloud is hosted in a dedicated, fully managed instance tailored to your organization, potentially within your own AWS environment. Alternatively, the shared cloud option offers a more affordable solution where your data resides securely in a segregated partition within our shared Polymon Cloud. All Polymon instances leverage Amazon Web Services (AWS) for reliability and security.
No. If you have existing gateway devices that are capable of REST or MQTT communication, they can be configured to send data to Polymon.

By default, data is retained for 12 months. We will be implementing the ability to customize this on a per device basis, as well as the ability to down sample data, in 2025.
No, the Polymon Gateway requires an active internet connection to transmit data to Polymon. In the event of a power outage, the gateway will cache read data records locally and upload to Polymon Cloud upon restoration of internet connectivity.
